Bridezilla

My sweetheart is next to me on the couch busily typing as he participates in some sort of online chat associated with a podcast about Twitter.  He has his headphones in and is only partially listening to the ambient noise at the house.  I am taking this opportunity to watch the current episode of "Bridezillas."  #twidows

Glad to be a Twidow tonight

As an introvert the Tweet-up lifestyle of going out nearly every night for networking is intimidating to me.  @jeffcutler and I have been to three evening events in the last six days related to his large (and my small) Twitter network.  Every event has been great - from a birthday party to wings and beers to the fascinating fair trade dinner hosted by @greenmtncoffee, @sryusen at @tastingswb last night.

And we have one more event tomorrow night, http://nomx3andgaryveecrushit.eventbrite.com/.

I told the Twitter fanatic in my life that I needed an at home night tonight, preferably a solo one.  Not surprisingly there is ANOTHER networking event for parts of the local social media crowd, so I'm home with only the kittens to keep me company.  Tonight I'm glad to be a Twidow,

Just priceless!!! I too was thinking I was being talked to... only to find out that @mikelangford was having a moment (yet again) with @jeffcutler. But before I could leave the room I was asked to serve him a piece of Friendly's Dutch Fudge Roll so he could let Jeff see it... now they are chit-chatting and eating together just like a pseudo @Nomx3 show. I swear I may have to file for visitation rights soon. Ok, I have to go, I hear them talking about "what are you going to wear?" This is all.

Have you ever yelled at your sweetheart across the house...

...only to realize s/he was talking with one of his/her Tweeple?

I popped into the bathroom at The Tiny Bungalow at 10:00 tonight.  While washing my hands I heard @jeffcutler yelling "Are you in there in the dark?"  "What?" I yelled back.  "Are you in there in the dark?" I heard echo back.  "No, the lights are on!" I hollered back with confusion.  The light switch is outside the bathroom door so it would be obvious to someone on the outside if I was in there in the dark.  I opened the bathroom door and realized @jeffcutler was video conferencing with one of his Tweeple, having taken advantage of my pee break to pop online with @mikelangford.

"There is nothing to do"

This is what my sweetheart, @jeffcutler, is moaning on this beautiful Sunday afternoon.  "Want to go to a movie?"  "No," he replies, anxiously checking Tweetdeck and his 1st generation iPhone.  "How about apple picking?"  "I'm bored," he says absently, running to the phone when he hears its familiar ring indicating a new text message has arrived.  What I have to offer isn't good enough.  He has claimed on Twitter that he is nearing Harvard Square, which is celebrating 'Oktoberfest' (yet another street fair with all of the standard urban street fair vendors) and is looking for one of his Tweeple to hook up with.  Sigh.  Guess I'll entertain myself.  Again, while @jeffcutler anxiously paces the house waiting for one of his 2,000+ followers to send a DM saying s/he wants to play.
